Sascha (Sas) Nikolic was born in Serbia in 1963. Aged ten he moves with his parents to the Netherlands. His
mother was an art teacher, and at an early age, his talent as an artist started to show. First at school and later
in the graffiti underground environment of the eighties. Typical of his early work were the black and white
marker drawings.

In the mid eighties he meets the well known entrepreneurs Peter Schmitt and Jelle Oomes, resulting in a
series of exhibitions and commissions to create murals and paintings in the Rotterdam and Amsterdam coffee
shop & club scene.

In 1987 he opens together with Russel Borger (AIRUSS) a gallery in Rotterdam, called Galaxy. The activities are
expanded with the delivery of all kinds of design work and commercial workshops under the name Space Art
Systems.

In the late eighties he enrolls at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rotterdam, to further develop his talents.
Beginn 1997 he starts `Aa tot Zet Reklame` and he specializes in neon signs and glass/ sand blasting projects. In 2000
he expands his activities to make (once off) decors for "Extravagantie Entertaining", intermediate for artists and
market leader in the Benelux.
In 2004 he returns for the first time in 28 years to his native Serbia, now a country in transition. This inspires
him to create new works of art, acrylic on canvas.

During 2011 he comes back in contact with childhood friend and entrepreneur Zoran Trifunovic ("Trifa"),
resulting in a collaboration to exhibiting his works in various pubs, clubs and galleries in Belgrade.
